Data & Computing Core

The Data & Computing Core is directed by William Block, Director of the Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research (CISER). The objective of the Data & Computing Core is to provide data and enhanced computing services that are tailored to the needs of the population research community. These services take four basic forms:

  • Large-scale statistical computation services
  • Statistical computing consultation services, including instructional services to train new users, especially graduate students
  • Project-oriented statistical database services (e.g., archiving)
  • Access to Cornell's Restricted Access Data Center (CRADC)
